2.5* Taking off 1/2* for my peeves! Ok, this short is told from Nick's POV , that may or may not work for people.I thought he was funny and liked his 'voice' but, for a 30 year old Sheriff he was very ' young in thought ' I guess is a good way to describe it! I can see a lot of people being totally turned off by him though, I also had to suspend disbelief that the whole town knows but the two MC's have NO clue? It was a light piece of fluff, but it did have two of my peeves, which can't go unmentioned! I keep saying this, you DO NOT give animals as gifts without talking and planning it with the person you are giving it to! It is a living being- not a toy, major peeve for me, and in this case the puppy was only a prop, in a box for hours without a second thought! I know it's a story, but this is a no go for me! The second major peeve, I can probably go with the flow, so to speak that they don't use lube, since there is still prep, but..BUT NO CONDOM?Do they think the other has been celibate , at least have the obligatory ' I'm clean and I trust you ' spiel! Not cool..very not cool!
