Moving On - H.J. Holt 3.5*An interesting story, especially since Luke really has a complex and difficult history.A less than ideal childhood and an abusive ex. I did think Kit flying all the way to England and leaving after one 'discussion' with Luke strange, and I could have done without that whole bit. Paul is a good man getting over his lovers death more than a year before, although his grieving is definitly more in the background and not a real part of the story IMO.I liked seeing Luke grow and gain confidence and self esteem he deserves all good things he can get. Luke is the highlight of this story for me and at times I was a bit annoyed with Paul not understanding his reactions better, but I was glad that he didn't give up on him! I was a bit annoyed at the whole Steve situation, I think Paul should have seen or known what was going on , or at least made sure it didn't happen.Henry was the one that stayed with Luke almost the whole time at the party and took care of Luke, not Paul, even though he knew how difficult it was for him. Lastly the sex, there is a lot of sex in this story, and that can be a good thing, but in this case it felt repetitive for the most part and I ended up skimming.
