The Lodestar of Ys - Amy Rae Durreson 4.25*Awesome addition to the LHNB eventIt never ceases to surprise me what amazing and interesting stories are created by the authors in such a short time and with other people's pictures and prompts for this event. The world this is set in is interesting and captivating, the characters were diverse and multifaceted. There was happiness, love. Death and tragedy, sadness and despair and finally hope for a brighter future. The names and places got a little confusing, but that's ok, I just went along for the ride and enjoyed every minute of it.I loved Celyn and grew to like Sjurd, I was happy for the turnip farmers, sad for Mathilde.I would love to read more set in this world and maybe see Sjurd get just a little sappy.
